Hello. My name is Susan R.

I am an editorial services entrepreneur who provides book project management, editing, and indexing services to authors and publishers of nonfiction books.

For authors who wish to self-publish, I will help to transform your manuscript into a professional, ready-for-publication work, ensuring that your writing is clear and concise and follows a consistent style. I will be sensitive to the importance of retaining your voice.​

Experienced. I have 25+ years of publishing experience, managing the production process from author manuscript to published book or file. I will coordinate book projects with your authors, internal staff, and outside vendors.

Skilled. I am extremely focused and detail-oriented, proficient with electronic editing using MS Word's track changes feature, and able to create back-of-book indexes using Sky Index Pro.

Passionate. I love to learn and am passionate about books that educate and inspire. I am especially interested in books about wellness--not only physical, but also financial, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual wellness.
My fees are in line with those suggested by the Editorial Freelancers Assoc.
My project management fee is $25 per hour.
For copy editing, I will provide an estimate based on a sample edit of the first 10 pages of your manuscript (double spaced MS Word document in 12 point Times Roman).
My indexing fees are per page rates based on the number of typeset pages and the complexity of the book.
